Popular Post 1FinickyOne
There was a Thai musician a few years ago who ran the distance, South to North - he had a van and an entourage following close by... he was raising money for country government hospitals - - I gave 1000 baht and so did my wife - I cheered him as he went past. As to me, I had thoughts about doing something similar - - but I felt better in the morning. 1 1

You'd have plenty of time to plan on the route. I wouldn't try to do it all in one day. If anyone saw the YouTuber Walk3r do Bangkok to Cha Am/Hua Hin in 3 days. Why hurry? biervoormij
This was in the news a few months ago. The link I found is from a site not allowed on here so just a bit of the text. British expat James Lee Valentine went on a 1,000km journey to raise money for children. Valentine, 59, wanted to raise 1 million baht for Take Care Kids, a children's foundation based in Pattaya. The walk from Pattaya to Phuket covered 1,050km. The 48-day walk ended on June 6. 1

scubascuba3
Roads will be boring, do a 3 day trek in Chiang Mai or Mae Hong Hong, pass through villages, long necks, elephants, rafting, whatever

spidermike007
That would have to be timed with mild weather. The rainy season would be a good time to do it. Just saw the movie the Long Rider, about a guy who rode a horse from Alberta to Brazil. Took around 19 months. Amazing accomplishment. 1
