Advice on selling car

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone

Can anyone tell me the procedure and what is required when I need to sell my car, also what the buyer (English) is needed to produce etc.

I am also English and the car has been registered to me from new in my sole name

Thank you in advance for any help

You will both need your passorts, visas and a residence certificate from immigration. The easiest way is for you both to drive to to the Driving Licence Centre off Highway 36 (in Pattaya). People there can do the paperwork for a few hundred baht. The DLC will check the car belongs to you and they can change the name in the green book to the buyer. He hands over the money and it's done.  Maybe only 1 hour.
