Why such a huge difference compared to Pattaya? You missed the road between Patong and Kata (I think) that collapsed down the hill? The management in Pattaya is poor and corrupt. Yes, they do far better down Phuket way with some things.... they could have got nearly a year out of that Pattaya way. Intriguing to know why Phuket can, Pattaya can;t.
