Can anyone provide me with the link to the (actual) online driving test for Thailand.

 

I have to renew my bike and car licences next month.

 

I did an online search and found numerous sites.  Not sure which one is the real deal.

 

I have a five year licence.

 

Some other questions if anyone wants to help me save some time also:

 

1. How early ( and late) after the expiry date can you renew?

2. When doing the online test, can you just redo the questions you got wrong until you pass?

3. What shelf life is on the online test (and you medical certificate)  For example, could I do the test now and the QR code would still be valid next month.

4.  What documents are now required for a 5 year renewal.

5.  Do I just need one test QR code to renew both my bike and car licences.

1. You can do it up to a year after expiry, and will therefore get up to 6 years, until birthday. Never have done it early.

2.You watch the video and do questions until you pass, it is easy.

3. QR code is valid for 6 months. I did medical cert 2 dys before, but was told they would accept up to a week.

I have never had to take a written test for my Thai license.  The last time I renewed my 5 year license I had to watch a 45 minute video.  The video did have some review questions in it but I never had to answer them.  This was about 2 years ago.  Just have to do the vision and reflex tests.

 

For Thai's, like my wife, they now have an online course/test they have to take and pass before going in to get the actual renewal.
