webfact
AMMAN - Given the unprecedented humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, the Government of Thailand is providing a crucial contribution of 3,000,000 Baht (US$ 80,000) for the UNRWA 90 Days Gaza Flash Appeal to provide life-saving support to Palestine Refugees in the besieged Strip. UNRWA welcomed Their Excellencies, Mr. Supark Prongthura, Ambassador of Thailand to Jordan, along with Mr. Adisak Jantatum, Deputy Chief of Mission and their delegation to the Office of UNRWA Affairs in Jordan. Their essential and timely funding allows UNRWA to provide critical services in the months ahead in the Gaza Strip. “We are grateful for Thailand’s contribution at this critical time, in response to the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. It will allow us to purchase water, food and medical supplies urgently required by the population in the Gaza Strip. The Government of Thailand has been a steadfast and reliable supporter of UNRWA and we are proud to be their partner in serving Palestine Refugees in this hour of need. Your contributions will literally save human lives,” said Director of UNRWA Affairs in Jordan, Olaf Becker, appreciatively. As a responsible member of the international community and in line with Thailand’s longstanding humanitarian tradition, this contribution goes beyond Thailand's support to UNRWA since 1978 and recent multi-year voluntary contributions to UNRWA from 2022-2026 totaling US$ 200,000, funding core UNRWA programmes, including education, health care and social protection services. “Thailand has been closely monitoring the situation in the Gaza Strip with deep concern, particularly the impact on innocent civilians. We stand with the international community in expressing our sympathies for the loss of lives and damage to property that have occurred. Our contribution aims to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people who are in urgent need of food, water, energy, medical supplies, and shelter in Gaza. We also commend UNRWA for its dedicated efforts in spearheading the humanitarian cause in the Gaza Strip. Our deepest condolences also go out to the members of UNRWA who tragically lost their lives while carrying out their noble tasks,” said H.E. Mr. Supark Prongthura, Ambassador of Thailand to Jordan. We are proud of Thailand’s constant commitment as a donor to UNRWA, to supporting the Agency’s vital humanitarian work during ongoing hostilities in the Gaza Strip and beyond. TOP Picture: H.E. retarius
I'm guessing that any food or humanitarian aid will not be allowed through by the US/Israel alliance until all military objectives have been achieved. Isn't it a war crime to kill civilian or to cut off their food and water? 1

Popular Post Joebuzzz
Seems people following how this works aren't aware that that little, or nothing, will go to the public. It will go to Hamas. News from yesterday..... hospitals run out of fuel for generators, Hamas took it from them. They killed innocent Thai people, they're holding Thai hostages. I wouldn't give them a single Baht!

Puccini
Perhaps we shouldn't blame the Thai government for funding a terrorist organisation (via UNRWA), seeing that even Israel is funding it.
