Dissolving ISOC was never a part of the Pheu Thai Party (PTP)’s policy, neither before, during, nor after the election. This fact is reinforced by the policy declaration I made to the parliament. However, the PTP and the PTP-led government intend to modernize the army and integrate it into the democratic process. Popular Post klauskunkel Posted November 3, 2023 Popular Post Posted November 3, 2023 Thailand had its fair share of pathetic PMs, there were fools, weaklings, criminals, narcissists, big mouths, and now it has a deluded one: Quote Lastly, I am the Prime Minister from PTP, elected by the people 2 3

Candidates do not have to be a member of parliament (MP). Parliament's vote for Prime Minister will take place in a joint session with the 250-seat Senate appointed by the junta, according to the constitution's provisional terms. Seem that he was indeed elected in accordance to constitution. 1 1 1

Popular Post spidermike007 Posted November 3, 2023 Popular Post Posted November 3, 2023 (edited) If anyone gave this guy credit for being intelligent, that has gone out the window after claiming that he was elected by the people. How on earth is anybody supposed to buy his nonsense after making a statement like that? Selected by the toxic army maybe, elected by the people, absolutely not. Sretta, you are a stooge and you seem to be the only one who does not know that. Edited November 3, 2023 by spidermike007 1 1 2

bamnutsak Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 From his tweet Lastly, I am the Prime Minister from PTP, elected by the people and endorsed by the parliament. Please do not undermine the voice of the people. If I am only a puppet, I am a puppet of the people. A threat, wrapped in a passive-aggressive comment. He's not a stooge or a puppet, but he is working his way up to Bufoon. 1

No argument from me that the 2017 is a highly skewed military constitution. It was thrusted down the throats of the people. My point is that the election was conducted within the legal framework of the constitution and the election was thereby legit. Do not like the junta and the government but glad that we now have a legit elected government. The 2017 constitution will be re-written and the next election will not have the participation of the senates. Thailand should move forward to such principle of democracy. 1 1 1

thesetat Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 as it seems. You are correct. It was a sad day for the Thai people but, they allowed these things to happen in their government. So sympathies are minimal. Also they have yet done anything to change it. 1
