The driver, returning from a religious ceremony, unfamiliar with the route, crashed into an electric pole, causing it to fall onto a passing motorcycle, injuring the rider. Picture: 77kaoded Police Lieutenant Colonel Phatcharathon Nophathunsawat, the duty officer at Samut Prakan Police Station, responded to the accident report. The car driver, Anurak Daengthet, 28, admitted to drinking a small amount of alcohol. He lost control of his vehicle on an unfamiliar curve, colliding with the electric pole, which then fell onto a motorcycle, reported 77kaoded. Picture: 77kaoded The incident led to a power outage in a 2-kilometer radius, affecting thousands of households. The Metropolitan Electricity Authority blocked the power supply in the accident area and redirected electricity from other sources. The power was restored after approximately three hours, and the fallen electric pole was replaced.
