Pattaya — Jomtien Beach in Pattaya witnessed an energetic culmination of the “WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup and WGP#1 Waterjet World Series 2023” on December 17th.

Gracing the closing ceremony were prominent figures such as Mr. Suwat Liptapanlop, former Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, and Mr. Kritsana Bunsawat, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya City, alongside representatives from Thai and international jet ski organizations.

 

This global tournament, held from December 13th to 17th, attracted top athletes and teams from 55 countries. With Poland, France, and the United States hosting earlier rounds, Pattaya served as the grand finale, showcasing its championship-caliber arena and solidifying its reputation as a premier Sports City.

It was always called the Waterski World Cup, now Waterjet. 

 

Why the name change? 

 

I prefer the old location, opposite the night market.
