scubascuba3 Posted December 20, 2023 Posted December 20, 2023 I ride past these sometimes and wonder if anyone has reported and if so who to, i reported poor lights on Thepprasit the other day to Pattaya City Hall, nice response but usually they only feign interest 1
hotchilli Posted December 20, 2023 Posted December 20, 2023 Had to swerve around one the other morning on my bike, the cable was coloured dark grey and in the morning light was almost invisible. Hanging down about 2ft out from the curb with about two ft laying on the ground. Just saw it at the last moment and brushed it away with my hand/arm. 1 1 1
brianthainess Posted December 20, 2023 Posted December 20, 2023 No mention of what cable it was, but we all know it would be a fiber optic one from an internet company, as usual. 1 1
RobU Posted December 20, 2023 Posted December 20, 2023 Had a low lying fibre optic strung across our front garden to our neighbours house. Our neighbor reported it a number of times and they did nothing. A truck delivered some building material and caught it, pulling it down completely. Then I intervened and threatened legal action, at which point they finally came and fixed it. A lot of these people who put up the cables are self employed contractors. They supply the cable and link it to the network at the box on the pole which has many access points, then inform the network of the property it is linked to and which access point is used. 1
