I will give it a go .  Although actually i was being sarcastic and didn't want a recommendation of a rom-com but was having a sarcastic dig at TV shows and why they insist on having multiple gay/lesbian couples in every TV show now.   It's nonsense.   For example only 6% of the UK population are members of the LGBTQ community.  So, although i know TV isn't real they have to at least represent some sort of realism to it.  In the film and TV world according to them it's the other way round and only 6% of people are straight.

The same applies to putting people of colour into historical roles or TV or movies just to meet some kind of quota. In A Gentleman in Moscow you would have thought every second person in Russia at the time was black, when in fact virtually none existed there at that time.

Moonflower Murders

Release date: TBC

First look images from upcoming drama Moonflower Murders, which is based on Anthony Horowitz's bestselling novel of the same name.

The sequel to 2023's Magpie Murders, the six-part series will star Lesley Manville and Timothy McMullan in their lead roles as book editor turned sleuth Susan Ryeland and acclaimed literary detective Atticus Pünd.

FYI, this was released in the U.S. on PBS (Masterpiece/Passport) a month ago and is widely available.

Season 2 of "The Devil's Hour" has been released... https://www.imdb.com/title/tt14379784/

I seem to remember enjoying the 1st series & the 2nd one sounds good....

https://m.imdb.com/news/ni64794646/?ref_=tt_nwr_1

The Devil’s Hour Season 2 sees Lucy (Jessica Raine) and Gideon (Peter Capaldi) forming an uneasy alliance to prevent a recurring tragedy and hunt down an elusive monster.

Lucy’s double life sees her torn between family and duty as she finds herself in the crosshairs of her past-life husband, Di Ravi Dhillon (Nikesh Patel). Assisting Dhillon in his investigation is DS Sam Boyd (Saffron Hocking), who Di Lucy Chambers mentored in a previous life.

Meanwhile, Isaac (Benjamin Chivers) is discovering new emotions daily and struggling to keep his balance in a reality that rejects his existence. Fresh mysteries unfold as our stories converge on one explosive moment that will change the fate of our characters for the rest of their ever-recurring lives.

Isn't that part of Disney Andrew ??

No looked it up myself..... Disney had distributing rights up to 2016........ so I am way behind...... Anyway really good movie.

Wiki--The following year, DreamWorks entered into a distribution agreement with Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, wherein Disney would distribute DreamWorks films through the Touchstone Pictures label; the deal continued until August 2016.

I missed the two season family comedy sitcom The War at Home back in 2005 - 2007 but my algorithm served me up this compilation about it's one gay character and I found it very funny, so I'm tempted to sample the actual show. Weirdly it got bad reviews the first season, but good reviews even winning awards the second, then cancelled.

Yeah, both full seasons are on youtube.

I see Beetlejuice Beetlejuice billed as dark comedy has just popped up on YIFFY

That's the big problem with movies and TV - everything is a reboot.  Some a reboot of a reboot of a reboot.
Like how many times can you remake Beau Gest

I watched Oppenheimer.  Like most films by Tenet it was well done.  I enjoyed it for both its story-line and historical value.

Then The Rings of Power.  I dunno.  It could be sooooo much better.  I just come away disappointed and I am a solid Tolkien fanboy.

Dark Matter was a surprise and I enjoyed it.  Ended up reading the book afterwards and the TV show was tightly scripted to follow the book, probably because the author was involved in the TV show's production. However, the Season 2 will be completely new stuff as Season 1 ends with the end of the book.  Not sure how that's going to work but if Blake Crouch is writing the screen play it might fly.  On top of that Blake Crouch is now on my To Read list of authors.

Dark - you gotta be Ok with subtitles unless you speak German.  Excellent though.

Then, Abigail - Ha ha ha ha ha.  Great funny horror movie!  I loved it.

Things I'm waiting for:

Severance Season 2  - This is my style of quirky shows.  Loved Season 1, and looking forward to Season 2.
House of Dragons Season 3  (long wait for this one)
Silo Season 2 - Worthy effort
Foundation Season 3 - It ain't the books but it is good in the non-Asimov tale of The Empire.
Dune 3 - Herbert had plenty of books so there is plenty of plot left.

Things I'd like to see:
Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson.  I watch an AI trailer and it would be a hit if they'd make it into a movie.

Books:
The Winds of WInter  (Either George dies before it is ever finished or I do - I've not much hope)

Realistically, there isn't much out there that is novel and worth watching.  But I'm surprised on occasion though, for example Severance and Dark Matter.  Most of it is just rehashed and worn-out plot lines. Which is sad because I tend to read more than I watch the screen.  And there really are some incredible writing going on that COULD be made into movies or TV, but the producers of such don't have the cajones to risk anything new - the just know the same old, worn-out plot-lines will keep them in the money.
Well - nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Subscene was the best before they shut down.  It's difficult to find anything similar to Subscene now.
