This appears to be a hard, violent version of the "romance" scam. The perpetrator has been identified as American and it seems he has behaved in a similar fashion in his own country.

Hopefully, he will soon be located and meet justice. 

It's a pity a vagina faced; xenophobic Brit feels it necessary to display his puerile humour at other nationalities, and sad that so many of his countrymen find it hilarious.

It's about where and who you're looking for and finding. Never truly "free" when you start looking at every last baht for food, drinks, etc. (though, again, that can range from 100 to 10000). But it can be "genuine" with many women, much as any place on earth. It still boggles my mind how many claimed expats who've been here for 10 plus years can't comprehend this... Or speak any Thai besides "Sawadee Krab".

It matters. The racist and bigoted comments become normalized and acceptable to others. If some people must foster bigoted comments to make themselves feel superior and to bolster against their own sense of inferiority, they should keep it to themselves, lest everyone see they are in fact inferior
