BANGKOK, Jan 9 (TNA) –  Dinosaur replicas will not be put on display at Government House lawn on the National Children’s Day this year, said Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin.

The life-size dinosaur models were installed by the Department of Mineral Resources at Government House for the past several years on the Children’s Day, annually celebrated on the second Saturday of January.

When asked about the inclusion of dinosaur exhibits at this year’s National Children’s Day event at Government House, the Prime Minister chuckled and responded, “No, dinosaurs are extinct.”

Sretta did not want to remind the public of the fact that dinosaurs are still ruling the roost and pulling the strings.

Not to mention convicts, past and present.

Nah mate, he ain't that bright....

Perhaps so.

He has had a very successful business career. Whilst he is very much part of the system, I doubt as to whether he is under any illusions about his peers, and what Thailand and indeed the rest of the world think about them. He will understand, and quite possibly be amused, by allusions to dinosaurs, even if he is unable to do very much about them!
