I second that.

SS is fantastic and very underrated.

Yes fantastic guitaring, in rebel yell.

It's easy to rattle off the usual suspects in this type of thread, but lets here it for the unsung guitar hero's.

Steve is one of them.

Ps got to post it, check this out.

Duane Allman and Dicky Betts playing off each other in the Allman Brothers Band, nothing else like it.

Someone told Duane he was a great guitarist, he answered "No, I'm a famous guitarist, Dicky Betts is a great guitarist".

So many great players, but I think the interplay between these two is something special.

Duane and Clapton were pretty badass together...

I heard an interview with Gregg, and he said he started playing guitar about a year before Duane, and in week Duane was already better.

This guy doesn't belong on any list of great guitarists. He's a wanna be at best.

Have you listened to the riff he plays in "Too much love will kill you"? IMO it's up with the best.

One riff doesn't make a great guitarist. He's no Eric Clapton or BB King. He just doesn't rate in this category.

I am no music expert, I just know what I like listening to.

That would be me is I could only master that pesky F chord.

Could have been me. I was learning the guitar while wintering over in Antarctica, but someone had a fight in the bar and broke the only guitar on the base.

:giggle:
