Getting in touch with people working/running a buisness in Jomtien/Pattaya

Featured Replies

Hello people.

I used to live in phuket for 5 years pre-pandemic and are now looking to perhaps make a homebase in Jomtien.

Im in my 40ties and still actively making money. I have made the move to Thailand before and know how the system works here when it comes to income and what I am allowed to do.

Im hoping to get in touch with people currently working/entrepreuners in the area to get a feel for how it is staying longterm as a farang and making a living here. I know from living in Phuket that its a very different ballgame coming for a vacation and living.

Im up for a coffee/beer, some pool or perhaps just some talks online if YOU feel up for it 😀

Feel free to send me a PM or join in here in the thread.

You said that you lived in Phuket for 5 years. Was that a vacation or living?

After my first two responses I realize this is not the place for these things. Cant blame a man for trying tho!

There are a couple of expat clubs which hold regular (monthly?) meetings in Pattaya. I believe new attendees are always welcome and they may be just the thing for you in the first instance, at least.

I have now cleaned up the topic, can we be nice and helpful now please

You didn't didn't help much by answering "Yes" to his Q.
