The Soviet system was intrinsically flawed - that caused the collapse.

Most people had trouble getting beer in the USSR.

I used to work with a guy from Siberia. As a student, he was sent to the wheat harvests in the new lands.

The harvest was stored in bags. Thread and machines to sew the bags up either never arrived, or arrived too late.

As a result, about one-third of the crop was usually lost to birds and vermin.

I did read it all but that's irrelevant. You claimed that "It won't make comfortable reading for some." What was there about the nature of Trump's support that wasn't already widely known?

Most illegals enter the US via legal ports of entry.

Why waste taxpayer money on a wall, when few illegals try to cross the border out in the desert?

Ever heard of drones?

Do you never get tired of making it up, or do you think that if you make it up often enough we will believe you?

In just five days last week, Border Patrol processed nearly 50,000 migrants who entered the U.S. illegally, with daily apprehensions surpassing 10,000 thrice, up from the 6,400 average last month, according to federal data obtained by CBS News.

Unbelievable isn't it. Denial, deluded or arbitrarily arguing? Show them facts and they make these off the wall replies.

These news stories are misleading, because they mix together accounts of illegal border crossers with people who try to cross at legal ports of entry.

The illegal border crossers - those who swim the Rio Grande or walk across the desert, mostly get caught.

If having a big butt or being fat was a disqualification for politicians, there wouldn't be many of the present mob still in power, IMO, but by all means focus one's attention on people's butt instead of their message. It just exposes how bereft of anything of relevance to say one is.

@thaibeachlovers

Your candidate of choice routinely makes fun of others' appearance. He also got this habit of attaching demeaning nicknames to them.

You (and other Trump supporters) emulate him, and indulge in such on these topics.

It sounds like there was a year end surge, but the ones crossing via the Rio Grande mostly get caught.

If the federal border patrol didn't cut the razor wire to let them through there would be less to catch.

The Biden administration is allowed to cut the razor wire deployed by Texas at the border with Mexico, the US supreme court ruled on Monday.

Of the illegals you are posting about, how many were caught by the Biden administration?

We know how many were caught, but nobody knows how many weren't caught, and in my opinion, that number caught dwarfs the number who made it through.

Right. This open border policy by "these SAPS" in the biden administration is nothing less than disaster. Absolutely baffled how some around here are so oblivious. A surge??? Right, about a 3 year surge.

That is a fact.

Well, at least Trump is entertaining! 😆

“They go ‘missile launched!’ and you hear a bell go, I mean I see this, it’s so incredible,” he said, then praised the “geniuses” who respond to the bell to stop the missiles.

“These are not muscle guys here,” he said, pointing to his arm. Then, he pointed to his head and said, “They’re muscle guys up here.”

Trump went into sound-effect mode as he described the action:

“Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding! They’ve only got 17 seconds to figure this whole thing out, right? Boom, OK. Missile launch, pssshng, poom! It’s the most ― and we don’t have it here!”

gaa gaa goo goo bam bam. And they accuse Biden of being soft in the head.  It's that accusation / confession thing again.

There is absolutely nothing unclear about this English: If the number caught dwarfs the number who  made it through undetected (unknown) Then this states that the number caught is much less than    the "number who made it through".

Perhaps if the House Repubs hadn't slashed funding for Border Patrol, more agents could have been hired.  Of course they know the maga crowd is fearful of losing their gas station and truck driver jobs to immigrants, so Repubs think the border issue helps trump.

By the way, did Mexico ever pay for a 10-20 miles of walls put up under trump?  After Oct 7, perhaps the idea of a wall as any sort of barrier to entry will be quashed. Maybe it stops mothers with kids who walked 1000 miles, but Hamas certanly found ways to subvert a wall.

Why would the GOP fund more Patrol staff to let more illegals cross the border?

Hamas is not at the southern border, so try to stay on topic. If it stops anyone that walked 1000 miles to illegally enter a country they have no right to enter that is what it was intended to do.

Had Biden not cancelled it, less people would be walking 1000 miles, and does anyone actually believe that they "walked" 1000 miles, 5555555555555

BTW, it's about 1,000 miles from Tapachula to Brownsville, TX.

This border deal rabbit hole to "discourage migration" is mostly about paroles ,release policies and is not going to "end the major issues" Trump as well as everyone else on the Right way of thinking want a real solution, not these endless stop gap this and that. But of course the progressives and Romney are trying to make Trump look bad . Maybe you should re read my post that your not replying accurately to. So your sources are the progressives and Romney on this ??. So much for your credibleity Jim.
