Many dog lovers showed up this morning at the Military Dog Training Centre, in Pak Chong district of the north-eastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima, to participate in the auction of 54 dogs which have failed the test to enter military service.

There were 6 Labrador Retrievers, 28 German Shepherds and 20 Belgian Malinois.

The prices started at 1,500 baht and bids incremented by 100 baht. Each buyer is limited to the purchase of two dogs.

Can't resist - why did they fail the entrance test?

Too dog tired, or not enough dogged determination?  🤭😲

Or maybe the trainers didn't hound them enough.

I bet some of those dog lovers were restaurant owners

"I'll be dog gone", said the Military dog.....

Don't even try to joke in this forum before you'll get the 'confused' emojis...

and now I too got one from an obvious doofus with a dry sense of humour...

another dog ate their test results...

so they were trained to kill or so and now will go with unsuspected new owners?

Are the dogs listed as used military equipment or abused equipment

Also do the failed conscripts get auctioned off as well ??

They failed the "entrance test" not the training.

Where did the 'Trainers' do their training, maybe it's them that failed not the dogs.

Many dogs are scared of gun fire or firecrackers and that would make them fail test for army or the police.

Same as in football

I would fire the trainers, they have no clue in training.

Do they still keep their dog-tags?
