Patong – More than 500 counterfeit goods were seized at shops in Patong and collectively were worth more than 10 million baht.

The Region 8 Police told the Phuket Express that on Sunday (January 28th) they raided shops on the Ratch Uthit 200 Pi Road.

The raid came after they were notified by a company which sold genuine brand name goods such as GUCCI, BALENCIAGA, ADIDAS, ALEXANDER and McQUEEN.

I'm not sure if I'm just me but if same shop is selling that luxury brand Adidas alongside gucci I seem to think 🤔 maybe they are not kosher?

So for 500 items to be worth 10 million I think is this actual value if all stock was genuine?

20.000 baht per item for knockoffs is steep price to pay even for Adidas

Most goods in Thailand are fake... otherwise nothing would sell
