First thing I'd say after ordering a hoagie or cheesesteak ... NO ONIONS. Now, I put them on or in most things; raw, fried, pickled. I have always been a...SUPER TASTER..... Count your taste buds, and feel lucky if you have more than the normal taster.

Food needs fat, as wakes up all the other 'flavors'. When eating, first in, fats; butter, oil. If eating butter toast with your brekkie, yea, that's your first bite, and upside down, so butter hits your tongue. That primes your taste buds for sweet, sour, bitter, spicy and the umami that follows. And easy on the chilies, or you'll fry them suckers, and won't be able to taste a damn afterwards. I never want to eat Chinese products. Most stores and products never state where the products are from. We buy string sacks of onions - they are labelled, "Product Of Australia" I presume most carrots and potatoes to be Chinese grown.

Who knows if anyone is using nigh soil, for example, these days! is why we wash produce and remove outer layers....or cook the onion a bit to reduce bite ......organic ones at my local market as well
