There is an interesting paragraph in the DC Circuit Court opinion which has additional implications for trump:

 

"We cannot accept that President trump’s claim that a President has unbounded authority to commit crimes that would neutralize the most fundamental check on executive power---the recognition and implementation of election results. Nor can we sanction his apparent contention that the Executive has a carte blanche to violate the rights of individual citizens to vote and to have their votes count”

 

That would seem the citizens might be able to file a class action suit against trump & his co-conspirators for conspiracy to deprive them of the basic Constitutional right to vote. The fake elector scheme is prima facie evidence. The voters of Georgia might have an additional class action suit, as trump tried to deprive them of having their vote count. Georgia did 3 recounts and checked everything, yet trump still pressured SecState Raffensperger to "just find me 11,780 votes".

 

A punitive judgement in any class action suit could amount to $billions or tens of $billions against trump and his co-conspirators. Certainly there are lawyers out there who would smack their lips over the possibility of getting 30% of whatever a suit squeezes out of trump et al.

I didn't know Biden started the wars in Ukraine (I mistakenly thought putin invaded) nor in Israel/Palestine (I could have sworn Hamas started it). That Biden sure is clever.

 

The Dems put together a bipartisan Bill to solve the border issue, but House whackjobs decided they wouldn't even hear it. Even the Border Patrol Union was in favor of it.  Cannot blame Biden, but maybe a fat orange Tweeter who somehow puts fear into the cowards of the R Party.

 

As for inflation, I know you are not an economist nor well versed in that field, but what do you think might happen if:

 

---$25,000 was printed for every man, woman and child in the US

---Tariffs put on imports from China were passed on to the American consumer

---Supply change chains were disrupted for years due to Covid

In case you missed it, inflation became a worldwide phenomenon in the last few years. The US has done a better job handling it, and now it is sharply lower than it was, while the economy is growing faster than any other major industrialized nation.

 

Looking pretty good in the US right now. Gangbusters economy, relative to the Recession and 6.8% unemployment the last guy left in his wake. Biden needs no excuses; he can just bask in the glory of a recovery from the trump carnage.
