Quick question. If it's such a dream life why is he such an incredibly miserable man? He wakes up in the morning trying to figure out who he can hate, what battles he can wage, and how he can display his misery in an ostentatious fashion.

That's just who the man is, and it doesn't look like much fun to me. I would not want to be Don Don.

Societies have always judged men as great precisely by the “battles” they have “waged”.

and for most these men battling is what keeps them alive.

but hey, you can’t expect just anybody to understand greatness💁🏼‍♂️

The DJA is not the stock market.  The cracks are slowly appearing.  Not all sectors are doing well.  The one day decline in NYCB of 40% is just one example of troubling times on the horizon.  The Chinese markets have seen nearly a $3 trillion devaluation in the past two years.  Much of the money is coming back home to be parked in U.S. securities and some in U.S. markets.

You should read Powell's interview, in particular what he said about the causes of inflation, the odds of a crisis occurring this year, and the impact of the Chinese crisis.

Yes he's literally fighting for his life.

His main motivation to be president is to save his own ample arse.
If he loses, there is a good chance he ends his life in prison sans the golden toilets.

The mental stress is showing. He's melting down.

It does feel that way, he's always been a bit unhinged but it seems like he's substantially more insane than in the past several years. The stress is really showing and it is very possible something extreme happens to him health wise. He looks like he is about to short circuit, and the 306lbs. cannot be helping his cause. In addition it does appear that he has some form of premature senility as it's getting harder and harder for him to string a coherent sentence together.

If Biden can't keep it together, he will replaced by the Democratic convention. Biden faces a lot of opportunities to demonstrate he is still capable between now and the convention.

If Trump declines further, he still will get the nomination.

You and other Trump devotees can spin it anyway you like.  But the fact is that the economy is improving, GDP is up, unemployment going down, inflation going down, wages going up, stock market going up, trade deficit with China going down, etc.  Trump can hope all he wants that the economy crashes, but it's not going to happen this year.  Pity the orange man.

My post was a reply about wealth and how people handle it.  Exactly where do you see any connection to Donald Trump?  Any spinning done is by you.  If you want to promote Joe Biden and trash Donald Trump is up to you.  Just don't use me to do it.

From the man who continued his predecessor's cheap money policy for most of his first term before realizing inflation was here.

This is an update from Bloomberg about the U.S. commercial property market.

Moody's has downgraded NYCB to junk status.  Now Germany's Deutsche Pflandtriefbank and Japan's Azora Bank are being hit.  Janet Yellen says the problem is manageable.  Remember when she said the latest round of inflation was transitory.

Hopefully, this does not spread to other sectors.

Well, he tried to adapt to changing situations. I remember Trump was angry when he increased rates. During his interview, he acknowledged he did not anticipate the surge of inflation and reacted too late by increasing rates, also explaining why.

Anyway, how do you analyse his explanations about the causes of inflation and about a low risk of recession this year?

Biden ran unopposed is a reflection of the party discipline, cohesiveness and a clear strategy as opposed to the divided, in-fighting and rigid strategy of the Rep party. Less than half of Republican registered voters are affiliated to the Maga movement and it show in the New Hampshire and Iowa primaries. Good reason for Biden to be optimistic for the Nov election.

"The special counsel also described Biden as "a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory." "

And this is the best that the demoncratic party can do... that's pathetic

Typical demoncrat's reaction... I agree but it doesn't solve the problem does it???  Why doesn't your party take the initiative ... what are you afraid of... a real leader may emerge... before you come back with the typical "why doesn't the republican party do it too" ... they are incapable... so back to you.

If I recall, he gave 22 reasons saying not just one was responsible.  Agree.  I can think of several major ones, but prefer to keep them to myself.  Trump has very little understanding how the real world works.  We are now paying a steep price for the tax cuts he promoted.

Where do get dictator, facsim and lawlessness from? Presently under the current administration, you have a significant increase's across; crime, hate-speech, degradation of cities through soft on crime policies & excessive migrant issues, and of course high inflation. For anyone paying attention (not just on MSM), it's hard not to notice there is a problem with Biden's mental abilities. You should be concerned, not pushing him forward, because it's not that simple.

All being used as dog whistles to fire up the base. Most of these have been issues for decades. The border problems could have been partially addressed but Trump wouldn't let it happen. Needs to complain about something during his rallies.

IMO they support him BECAUSE he has 91 court cases against him. His supporters are not so dumb they can't see a weaponised judicial system when it's so blatant.

Had the Dems not tried to use the courts to destroy him, likely he'd never have got any support beyond his base, and gone away long ago.

IMO they need Trump as Biden wouldn't last 5 minutes against a competent politician ( even in in his own party ), as they think only Biden can beat Trump.

His supporters mostly don't have college degrees. So not very smart. Falling for the dog whistle that the judicial system is weaponized. Again. Stunning anyone would support a liar like that. Shows what's wrong with America.

Biden is definitely old, as is Trump. But Biden is a way better politician with decades of public service.

Could also ask why my party, the GOP, can't field better candidates. The last group were terrible.

Correction ,it's even worse, $6 trillion in three years.  Since you are so knowledgeable and confident about the economy, if not this year, when?

Such powerful delusion. TDS means Trump deceives his supporters. He is extremely miserable. Just look at him. When was the last time you saw him laugh, or show any sign of joy? He does not. He cannot. His life is one of loud desperation.

Clutching at straws IMO. TDS refers to Trump haters, not supporters, but you know that, don't you?

I don't know anyone that is happy, or laughs, or shows signs of joy. IMO PC, wokeism and the myriad problems of this Brave New World we inhabit has made everyone miserable.

Just to focus on Trump, do you in any corner of your mind think that ANYONE that has had the <deleted> shoveled on him for 7 years would be happy? If you think that Trump should be skipping for joy at all times that would make you delusional IMO.

Anyway, what is good for the goose is good for the gander, so tell us about your cheerleader for happiness, and his joy while sending another batch of made in the US bombs to kill Gaza children.

As I've said before, the media is so bad that it means that no one with any sense will enter the political snake pit that the media has made. So we have ended up with the dregs, IMO.

That's actually the forecast of the right wing coconut telegraph and has been for many months.  They'll parachute in their preferred candidate.

Of course, that means giving the finger to all the Dem primary voters and having their candidate mandated by the Party Elite.

Did you forget about Trump's agreement with Mexico ( I draw your attention in particular to under the administration of President Donald Trump ) to keep illegals there, and the wall that he did manage to get built?

Sorry that your memory is so bad.

Did you know that your hero Biden ended it?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remain_in_Mexico

Remain in Mexico (officially Migrant Protection Protocols) is a United States immigration policy originally implemented in January 2019 under the administration of President Donald Trump, affecting immigration across the border with Mexico. Administered by the Department of Homeland Security, it requires migrants seeking asylum to remain in Mexico until their US immigration court date.

The policy was initially ended by the Biden administration,

Didn't they already do that when they sabotaged Bernie? That one really backfired on them though.
