Yes I'm just wondering if a typical OBD2 SCANNER complete with screen and button functions, price as low as $50 or less now, has any real advantages over  an elm327 Bluetooth module, (I own one availab

 le for about 50baht!) where ones phone is the screen and  phone buttons replace scanner buttons. I'm they will have some assets like enhanced storage and so on, but I believe for instance that they elm 327 modules can handle resets and get any other information one may require from the censors in the engine.
