Police Raid Pattaya Vape Shop, Seize E-Cigs Worth 5 Million Baht

Officials from the Office of Consumer Protection Board (OCPB) and Banglamung police jointly raided a shop in Pattaya on Thursday under suspicion that the shop was illegally selling electronic cigarettes, e-liquids, and other related equipment.

 

The raid, conducted on March 21st, 2024, targeted the store named “Or Derv” within Soi Sukhumvit Pattaya 51, Nongprue sub-district, Banglamung district, Chonburi province.

 

Authorities arrived at the store to find several customers present. The authorities immediately ordered the suspension of sales before conducting a search and seizure operation. As a result, officers confiscated items including over 10,000 pieces of various e-cigarette brands, e-liquids, and related equipment. These items were valued at around five million baht, according to Banglamung police.

There is political pressure to ban pot except for medical purposes prescribed by doctors.

The two shops in HH have now gone and it's all online only in this nuthouse .. just one question how is customs evaded if you have 5m baht of illegal stock 🤔

Perhaps because the investment and the profits might go to French nationals. Perhaps.

Or Derv, sounds very French to me.

"Hors d'oeuvres" are small items served before dinner, often accompanied by cocktails. They're most commonly found at cocktail parties or during the cocktail hour of a reception or gala. Most of the time, hors d'oeuvres are considered 'finger foods' and can be eaten while standing and mingling.
