Agree but wish you could buy the Marmite low salt here.  Plenty on line but at ridiculous1y high prices.

Salt is good for you. Especially in hot climates.

Marmite - Food of the devil

I could think of nothing worse than putting it on ham or cheese - each to his own, I realize it's one of the most divisive foods on the planet, ;D

Vegemite is better. Packed with B vitamins. Good for energy or hangover.

For those in Chiang Mai, there is a great shop near the Thapae Gate end of Ratvithi Road (same side of road as UNIrish pub). Think it is called Meat and Cheese. Specialises in toasted cheese sourdough sandwiches with optional additional fillings. They really are pretty good. Also sell the sourdough loaves.

7-Eleven has extremely good toasted Ham & Cheese Croissant Sandwich, if lazy...

Add a banana and you have a great quick breakfast... 😎

I was going to say cheese and banana, got into the habit during covid.

I'd forgotten about Branston, worth alook for some. Can anyone recommend any toppings that aren't all sugar and additives.?

Two slices of cheddar on whole wheat with a thin spreading of mango chutney and a splash of Tabasco is my go-to when I need to eat, but don't want a meal.

Praise to England, no other nation ever took the concept as toast so seriously.

Next time you are making scrambled eggs throw in Feta.

You might be pleasantly surprised.
