Senator Seree Suwanpanont kicked off the Senate’s general debate against the government today by criticising the premier for acting like a salesman during his overseas visits, eroding the justice system by applying the law of the land selectively and in favour of a certain individual and under-performing without any tangible achievements, among other failures.

Seree said that the government promised to improve the lives of the people when it took office, but has failed to keep the promise and has blamed the delayed passage of the budget bill for the 2024 fiscal year.

The budget bill should have been in force since the beginning of the new fiscal year in October, but it only passed the final reading in the House last week and is now with the Senate.

And these were Srettha's best accomplishments.

He was ill-prepared for the job, thinking it was just about swanning around the country/world like a celebrity.

If he had an ounce of dignity he would resign.

He doesn't, and he won't.

At least he's not yapping about a Land Bridge or a fictional wallet.

Are you pivy to the information that he actually played a direct part in the selection, like voting for current government, remember not all senators voted yes.

Good stand up and talk even the current parties don't like it....

Is this because he could not get Taylor Swift to visit?

Truth hurts...

If you willing participate in this incarnation of the senate, you are complicit. Nobody forced these senators to take the role, but they all know and understand how the senate has unbalanced power. Not voting "yes" in a false show of neutrality does not wash your hands of the injustice committed by the senate (and its masters).

He was already a senator, therefore not forced to take any role, and maybe he was one of those who voted no - voting no is not being neutral.

I don't know who voted yes, no or didn't vote, do you?

Kudos to Senator Seree Suwanpanomt for telling it like it is. Sretta is a do nothing PM, completely phony and insincere and his policies amount to nothing. The air quality issues are chief among his failures. And he was not elected.
