ED visa

Featured Replies

I’m trying to get an education, visa in pattaya. I messaged with the Jomtien/Pattaya language school and they told me I need to pay 30,000 baht 28-30 days before my current tourist visa finishes. And then 5000 baht 3 times, every 90 days. I thought ed visas took longer than 30 days to process. Am I wrong?

is this place a scam? How can I find out if it’s legitimate?
Here’s the link to their website:

Any other advice on this is greatly appreciated.

my tourist visa is finishing on April 9.
so I was going to go get my visa extension on that day and then go to the school after that or the next day. It’s now march 29.

I just had a bad accident and got surgery on my wrist. I can’t do Muay Thai, thank you though.

I have used them, previously, with no issue and was referred there by a friend who had also used them.  You can PM me for details if you wish.

It's worth noting that you can't stay longer than one year from when you entered the country, not from when the education visa will be issued. Other than that, yes, you should be able to stay for one year.
