Apply for a congecal visit.  Anyone would do I bet they all would love to meet you.

Pattaya remand prison does not allow conjugal visits.

We need to help these poor buggers who have fallen

I guess if you want to help them, then best go there and listen to them.

And listen for a long time, and at least a few of them, before you decide to do something "good".

Even if you have the best motives, will you be able to understand them? Can you even possibly understand them when you come from an intact social background?

A few days ago, I saw the following video, out of interest. I thought let's watch it and look if it helps me to understand them.

I have to admit I don't understand them. Their world is so far away from my world, I just don't understand.

I wonder if you would have a similar experience in prison.

Do you recall his name ?

When I google mass shooting Thailand... there is none that are 26 people.

Sorry I don't remember his name, he didn't shoot 26 people all at the same time, my mistake, it was over a period of time I was told his last escapade was when he walked into a bar and shot 5 people,

We are discussing terrible things like that whilst people are languishing in a hot Un air conditioned prison room ,and I say room because these poor buggers are sharing with up to 50 Thai prisoners !!!!!!!

I know a rich guy who was a couple of years in a prison in a neighbor country.

When he came out of prison and moved back to his luxury apartment in Thailand, he didn't use the aircon for many months. He was used to the hot climate and no AC.

Pretty sure they will like you to scream wisdom to them while they are on the other side behind bars while 20 fellow prisoners are also screaming and talking to their visitors. If you wanna help someone, the best is likely to donate money, so they can buy things in the shop.

He'd need their names and prison account numbers to do that.

If you really want to help somebody in prison here, go help the two Burmese kids in Samui who were convicted of murder ten years ago.

Kids?  They were men when they were convicted, not "kids".

I will bring books on my next trip to donate .

Your next trip?   Where did you visit previously?  Your OP clearly establishes that you have not visited Pattaya Remand Prison at all so your "next trip to donate" must be your first.

Correct.

How is processing graphing book pests NOT more work for the prison staff? What’s in it for them?

WE think it’s retard hilarious, but to them it’s just baffling. Well, for us too.

Not true at all but why would a prisoner receiving a visit ever be bad PR?

The same reason they only allow pretty courtyards and such in any documentary. It looks better.

How many then ?

Zero according to his posts, although there was an implication that "shot" could have meant "killed".

Because they don't want outsiders in there. There have been many documentaries about Thai prisons. They were only allowed to film people out in the pretty courtyard with flowers, or in spots that were not reflective of true conditions there.

You're suggesting that prisoners having no visitors "looks better" than having visitors?   Looks better to whom?   That doesn't make any logical sense.   Who, apart from the inmate, knows, or cares, about their visitors?
