I would like confirmation on whether the 400k has to be seasoned to apply for Non-Imm O Thai marriage ME visa in Savannaket?

 

Does Vientianne also offer the same visa in 3 month or 1 yr increments?

Nothing definitively points to seasoning required or not. I travel next week and can deposit the funds this week and get my banks letter if seasoning not required.

Things have changed. 

For the multi seasoning is required (previously not the case) 

Few reports where guys have attended for multi and without seasoning have been give single entry non O (90 day)

BTW: Vientiane requires an appointment. 

Currently don't think they offer multi.

I have tried searching but can not find any reports on here of people being given a single because of money seasoning.

 

No financials yes, but not money seasoning.

 

Could you say where you saw these reports please? 

 

I am due to go to renew my ME visa in July so still have time (Embassy told me 2 months seasoning but no seasoning is better)

Damn, today I saw that the fellow just reported that 400k does NOT have to be seasoned. That's the definitive report I was looking for. Too late now. Fly tomorrow.

Next time when the 90 day is up. Unless I leave first.

The report you refer to seems 100% clear.

Let's hope it wasn't just one io using old requirements at Savannakhet.

I was at the Savannakhet consulate.  Multiple Entry Non-O Marriage requires bt400,000 seasoned for 2 months in a Thai bank account.  At least those were the financial requirements on that day with that official  😉

I got my non o visa multi entry with 400k  just 2 weeks in the account abt 3 weeks ago.

The lady did check with her colleague and finally 

approved.i think is important that the statment account from the nank needs to show you have money coming in or balance for the

6 months or 1 year statment if you do not season  the 400k..I notice she really go thru this.
