Popular Post webfact
Picture courtesy of pixabay An airline cabin crew veteran recently identified the top three seats to steer clear of in economy class, aiming to enhance the comfort of passengers who may be limited by budget. Their number one worst seat choice is in the second row, as it generally has limited legroom owing to its proximity to first-row seats often booked by parents with small children. The sound of potentially crying babies only adds to the discomfort. The last-row seats are the next to be avoided, as per the cabin crew insider. Besides being susceptible to more turbulence, these seats' proximity to restrooms and delayed food and beverage service makes for an unappealing choice. Added to this, these seats often do not recline, making them undesirable for longer flights. Lastly, the cabin crew expert advises against the middle seat. Offers of scenic views and a wall to lean on make window seats an attractive choice, whereas aisle seats provide more legroom and easy accessibility. Middle seats, wedged between two passengers, afford neither comfort, making them the least favorable. This advice follows a recent event where the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) was called to meet with Thai Airways International Public Co. Ltd. The meeting was in response to a social media complaint from a passenger who had bought a business-class ticket yet was put in economy class. -- 2024-05-02 Get our Daily Newsletter - Click HERE to subscribe 3

norbra
I rode 787 14 F overnight,SIN to SYD,full house on board. Overnight I was frozen as my seat was a target for A/C blast. Being summer in Aus I was wearing appropriate seasonal clothing, did not order blanket,no spare seats to move to. 2 days later was diagnosed with sinus infection, required surgery to clear infection. 1

Popular Post theblether
Go to seatguru.com Input your flight details The website lists seats to select and avoid by colour. Also, look at the passengers reviews of the seats. What some people hate you may enjoy. For example, I flew to Rio and the one of the two seats at the back of economy was slated as you couldn't lean against the window to sleep. They forgot to mention ( one wise passenger did ) that you had enough room around that seat to stand, stretch, and go to the galley or WC without disturbing anyone. That seat was excellent. The premium economy seat from Santiago, Chile to Madrid was not as good. A wee bit of research goes a long way, so use seatguru.com 1 2
Popular Post Lacessit
I always pick an aisle seat for accessibility. I book months ahead, to get as far forward in the plane as possible. 2

new2here
For me, i’d probably say: a) the window seat next to a main exit door (ie not an over wing door). Reason: These doors usually have the required slide packed into a compartment that protrudes from the door thus limiting your legroom b) the FIRST set of seat sets (usually 2x) in the rear after the planes fuselage tapers inward. Reason: because the seat set in front if you often has its floor anchors at an odd place compared to your seat set- which can make it hard to use the underseat storage or stretch out your legs. There are a few more, but they tend to be very fleet type specific

Chivas
11 minutes ago, norbra said: For 6 hours you are joking No I wasn't whatsoever I'm tall and on odd occasions when I've been uncomfortable I will go and stand at the back for long stretches In fact if you had done that its highly likely the flight crew sooner or later would have asked you why at which point you could have strongly made the point it was impossible to sit in the seat because of the air con. Speak nicely enough and they'll find you a seat rest assured "full" flight or otherwise
