T21 Foodland

Finally got round to visiting this place at 3am. Obviously no problem parking. Come out on bike parking level M and it's across the road, up the ramp and in. AC cafeteria. Decent menu, not a lot dearer than street food. Drinkable coffee @ 42 THB. Sweets for munchies like banana fritters and ice cream, and usual Thai dishes, untried.

A grade up from the Klang branch. Usual shopping offerings. Plus deli. Handy for the sleepless in Soi 6 brigade.

No, the Foodland cafe. Ground floor, Gate 5.

I didn't know it was possible to get confused by this post! Well, there you go. It was only FYI. Never mind.

Perhaps if you named the restaurant as Hauptmann did people including me would have understood what you were saying better.

If you don't know Foodland I guess it doesn't make much sense.

I shopped at the original Foodland on Ploenchit 40 years ago.

Foodland is a supermarket. Took La See is the diner inside most. But they are separate. Meet me at Took La Dee is clear, but at my Foodland there are two entrances.  Semantics no big deal..

Oh, understood. I used to eat at the one near Nana in Bangkok when, a very long time ago, I was a regular there. I've eaten at the one inside the Klang Foodland here in Pattaya. The English breakfast is a crime on a plate. The one inside Terminal 21 I'd never been to so made the effort. It's some distance from where I live but I'm often awake in the wee small hours and the traffic's not bad so decided to try it out. It was totally deserted, clean, well lit and well looked after. Probably the best Took Lae Dee (Cheap and Good) I've been to.

I used to go to the one under Royal Garden during its brief lifespan. The food and service were good, as was the price.
