What?

I was only refering to Hi Viz wearing tossers <deleted> invading Thailand ! The kind of guys who insist you wear a helmet while riding a pedal cycle round Chiang mai....do us a favour and push off back to the Uk where your species are encoraged.

It's not do 'us' a favour, seems like it's do you a favour, no one has mentioned hi viz, so use some manners, if people want to wear hi viz up to them, there's a couple of blokes that ride out on tour etc with a couple of groups that I do, and wear hi viz, no one bothers, up to them. Mind you they are mature adults not winkers.

Didn't take long for the 'death wish' comment to pop up....  as it does in almost 100% of motorcycle threads.   I think some guys must stalk MC threads to they can make this comment....

Indeed...

In addition to the inadequacy of the expressed opinion, the socio-phonetic cues unmistakably reveal a squandered educational opportunity throughout the formative school years... :giggle:

Knowing how to ride  MC and riding a motorbike in Thailand is way different as stated before.

I've ridden motorcycles in a number of countries, spreading across Europe, the middle east and Asia. The same same technics such as Spatial awareness and defense riding have stood me well throughout and I'm still riding at 78 years young.

Each country has its idiosyncrasies and learning those and adapting accordingly is what keep you out of trouble. There is nothing special about riding in Thailand. In fact I enjoy riding here and I'm always ready to climb aboard.

If you need a reliable motorcycle rental in Bangkok, in the center, I would recommend www.rentascooterbangkok.com
