I get the same at 77, if one keeps a healthy interest rising to the occasion is never a problem.

Why do you think he should have a problem just because the recipient is 20 yo?

First of all with a 44 year age difference does he really want an airy fairy youngster with absolutely no idea of what it’s all about and has never heard of muscle control, I mean come on surely quality with an older one has got to be better than quantity.

Furthermore remember that as one ages controlled final delivery becomes longer lasting and far easier to accomplish so a 20 yo should he wish to go there will definitely get far more than she bargained for.

I am thinking more of the frequency a 20 yo would be demanding from her partner.

I'd agree older guys can sustain the sex for longer than a teenager, and a more experienced partner helps.

If you are claiming you can manage sex 4 times in one night at 77 yo, I'll file that in my BS bin.

Dont want to go off topic but its not beyond the realms of possibility that this happened

People take these tabs of various decriptions often from street sellers and inavaribly very few have ever asked their own GP are they suitable for me

Maybe this guy had some undiagnosed condition used a tab and something happened thereafter

I do get totally amused when guys I know many who take the things and then discuss the unwanted after effects around the pool lol and am not talking about their performance per se

No confirmation of exactly where in Thailand the Welsh man died although it is understood a police investigation is underway.  No police press briefing

However, reports of Mr Brown’s death in Thailand at this time are sketchy. For instance, there is no police report or confirmation. Neither do we know where in the kingdom the man died.

There are reports that a police investigation is underway into the death of Mr Brown. However, there has been no media briefing.

Certainly, we are told in some reports that Mr Brown was found unresponsive in his Thai hotel bedroom on Saturday, May 11th. However, the GoFundMe fundraising posted by Camron Griffiths says that his family first learned of his death on Thursday, May 9th.

Obviously you have no idea. British Embassy will do zilch. Only tell next of kin he is dead and maybe a few links to lawyers/funeral services in Thailand.

can't they show some sympathy and donate $10,000  to help the grieving family.

why wouldn't they mention where he passed away or what the cause may have been ?

Perhaps because they don’t know as yet. The post did say “an investigation into his untimely death is underway.”.

P.S. It's up to the British Embassy to pay all expenses and then settle with the family back in UK.

Foreign Embassies worldwide are their to provide assisstance to its own citizens but thats never extended to paying repatriation costs.

Out of interest someone mentioned "cheap" insurance not covering repatriation. It did make me wonder if I had it on my annual multi trip coverage

Had to did deep but yes its there under the death section

That policy last renewal was I think from my memory £58 something for 63 year old (at the time)

(claimed twice in past no issues)

yes,  but it doesn't say in Bangkok, Phuket or where ....  it also mentions he wasn't ill or sick at all and there was nothing wrong with him,  many questions unanswered .....

It would be apparent that Simon Brown died of natural causes, otherwise the RTP would have had a lot more to say on the matter. It's not possible to ascertain the exact cause without a full autopsy and I recall Sheryl saying that it can be a month before the results are known. Besides, what business is it of ours anyway?

47 is a bit young to simply drop dead of natural causes but it is not unknown. I've had a number of friends and colleagues in this age group who unexpectedly past away. One was a really good buddy of mine who had a stroke at this same age.

Yes unfortunately,    we have to play the cards we're dealt ... you at least need a pair to get to 50yrs ..

Jacks or better will see 70+..     imo

The article says he dies in his hotel room and as for cause, it’s too soon to have the results from the autopsy

That's fine. but far too often you read something then don't read any follow ups. This report is very interesting as the deceased appears to have had been a very popular man with a very clean bill of health. RIP.

Well it looks like Browny really loved being in Thailand as spent most of his time here

Get the feeling  his life at home in Wales was not to good he  seems to be a bit of a loner

At least he enjoyed his stay in Thailand

RIP to Browny

Wish his family well on getting him back to Wales

RIP and condolences to the family and friends.

Regarding the Go-Fund-Me...  I understand that there are cultural and religious differences... But, I don't quite get the logic behind transporting a dead body from Thailand to the UK at huge expense...

... Would it not be easier to have a cremation in Thailand and a Memorial service in the UK.

His ashes could be transported back in due course - either hand carried or posted.

For someone who lived a long time in Thailand, I've heard of people 'splitting the ashes'....    so that some remain in Thailand and some is returned to the UK...  some form of comfort if the deceased had loved ones in both nations.

For many westerners, cremation is not an option as traditional beliefs and customs dictate that one must be buried in the earth when dead, not cremated.

of 77 yo? the only "frequency a 20 yo would be demanding from" from partner of such age would be if he were Hugh Hefner.

I wonder the same thing about your comments😝

My family are all dead so do not come into it. Anyone described as 'beloved' but then they get the hat out for his burial was clearly not.

Much better to cremate and split the ashes... A superb idea!

No travel insurance again?

3 months cover available from ฿7,000 and covers up to ฿500,000 including repatriation for death. IMG_0614.jpeg.7105b891f1f461c65178dd5efb353b6a.jpeg

The usual begging on GFM, have families no shame these days?

It is also an expensive pointless exercise bringing back a lifeless lump of flesh and bone simply to dispose of. Disposal here with a memorial service in his home town achieves the same thing - they won't even see a body anyway. It could be anything in the coffin

The guy worked all his life, has many friends, etc. But can't get back home without a fundraise? I don't mind Go Fund Me but it should really be reserved for those with no alternatives.

Fortunately, your opinion is irrelevant. How do you know what his family's alternative options were? These sites are for things like this. Another idiot comment by an idiot

I appreciate you have low intelligence. Maybe his family does not have 10k sitting around? However, you got 1 point for your braindead post, congrats!

No because they have no money. Is that a problem?

Stupid remark. People want to be close to their loved ones not 7,000 mile away

Its not a stupid remark at all....     So many people get cremated these days...

They could send the ashes back...  isn't that being close to a loved one ?

Paying crazy costs to repatriate a body seems stupid to me...   especially if they can't afford it.

............

So rtco - what would you do in similar circumstances ?.... Would you pay £15,000 to repatriate the body of a loved one, or would you take the Cremation option and post the remains back ?
