Of course now we have an inflation and housing affordability "crisis". I'm sure they planned this and had some greater reason for it but I'm not sure why. #2 is the potential conspiracy. They were maybe trying to cover something up. The fact the Ukraine war started following this event is interesting too. Capitalism requires perpetual growth in *borrowing( or it all collapses. In late 2019 there was a Repo (Banking) Crisis and banks stopped lending to each other. Covid (rebranded cold/flu) was used as the excuse to pump liquidity into the system / print gazillions in new cash from thin air.
