This is not approved for use in Thsiland.

Antihistamines available here that can be used for sleep/sedation include:

1. Hydroxyzine

2. Doxylamine (Sominar)

Of these two,  which would give the strongest sleep assistance taken at recommended dosages ?  Would Doxylamine  leave you feeling less groggy the next morning being the half life is shorter ?

Personally I find Doxylaime better but people do vary. Yes probably less groggy with it than with hydralyzine.

Neither is recommended for regular long term use.

Some people are more sensitive to the sedation (if that is the desired effect) provided by Chlorphenamine, which is available everywhere and is so inexpensive it might as well be free.

Does that mean it would be illegal to bring into Thailand? Is not on the list of prohibited drugs though.
