Watching new body cam footage and  Floyd criminal & Drug activity that was kept from the public , gives credibility to Floyd being a notorious villain in society and certainly not worthy of hero status  !

And kept from the jury.

I didn't follow the story in detail. As far as I know he was a criminal. But also, as far as I know, the police used a lot more force than necessary. In a civilized country the police s

The type that would consider him a hero (holding a gun to a pregnant lady etc) have an agenda and are not worth listening to. Pure scum.

Did he deserve to be murdered by a policeman when he was unarmed, subdued, face down, surrounded by armed police and posing no threat? HIs history has nothing to do with it. He was not a model human being, we all agree on that.

You guys always avoid the questions.

What did it show that justified a policeman kneeling on his neck with full force for nine minutes until he stopped breathing? Please enlighten us.

My hope is that one day, just once, one of you will answer a simple question. Small kudos to YT who once did answer saying the murder was not justified. Any others man enough to step up and answer a question?

Do you consider George Floyd a hero or just another Serial criminal who was addicted to drugs?

At his worst, Mr. Floyd was a drug addict and ex-con who did hard time for a 2007 robbery in which he terrorized a Hispanic woman who was at home with a baby, and absentee parent to his older children, one of whom didn’t recognize him when his photo appeared two weeks ago on television.

certainly not. a person becomes a hero because of wilful actions intended to have a positive effect, not by just being there and killed.

Floyd was a criminal who was assaulted and killed by police in a situation where he posed no threat, which should not happen.

Absolutely correct. I am not sure why this thread exists - no one considers him a hero. He was just an unfortunate victim of horrendous police brutality. His death highlighted the inherent racism and brutality in the US police force, it doesn't make him a hero.

The OP's question was loaded and we all know why. Looking for echo chamber responses (which he duly got, sadly).

since he choked himself to death I consider him a hero.

It is sad the way the left defends criminals and attacks the police at every opportunity.

It is sad the way the right defends police brutality and attacks the irrelevant history of a black man they murdered.

I've never defended police brutality, nor have I attacked George Floyd's criminal history. I need only the events of the day and the body-came footage to conclude it was not murder.

yes, the great American Hero and the defender of freedom and democracy. Isn't obvious? Nancy said that

Not only do I not consider him to be a hero, I wouldn't consider him at all except for something like this post.

Did not seem like a great human being.

Apparently was a convenient casualty to beat the cops with politically.

Can I go back to not considering him at all now?
