Musk targets Social Security with blatant misinformation
When someone says I found 150-year-olds claiming social security which is against the law, should they be prosecuted immediately? Would the court cases be evidence that there is some possibility of truth to this allegation, and should no prosecutions mean that Musk is lying? -

Trump Shrugs Off Potential EU Ban on U.S. Food Imports
Even more predictable was your deflection. What is BRICS currently anyway? It's not a political union. It's not an economic union. It's not a trading bloc. In fact, it doesn't appear to be much more than an inappropriate acronym and an annual beano for a few developing nation leaders and their cronies. -

Temple Abbot Arrested in Suphan Buri for Child Exploitation Crimes
Photo via Suphan Buri Police Station In a disturbing development today, police arrested Prasert Klinbancheun, the abbot of Nong Chaeng temple in Suphan Buri, following charges of possessing and distributing exploitative images of minors. This arrest follows a sweep directed by Police Colonel Peera Assawapiboonphol, responding to intelligence from Thailand’s Internet Crimes Against Children task force. The incriminating search was conducted by a dedicated team who discovered evidence on Prasert’s mobile, aligning with the inappropriate material reported online. Among the victims identified was a 16-year-old student captured in images taken three years ago. There were also revelations of abuse involving a 13-year-old temple assistant as recently as the previous week. Prasert confessed to uploading the images to Google Drive and acknowledged the abuse. Authorities swiftly carried out a defrocking ceremony in light of his admissions. The Ministry of Social Development and Human Security is now supporting the minors involved, ensuring their welfare and further investigation. Prasert has been transferred to Dan Chang Police Station for the continuation of legal proceedings. Families of the victims are anticipated to press additional charges against him. This incident sheds light on the urgent need for vigilance and protection within communities typically deemed sanctuaries, reported The Thaiger. -- 2025-02-21 -
