I think you miss the point. A file photo for reference is meant to have at least some relevance to a story. So that it can be used as a reference to which one can refer.

Posting a totally unrelated file photo serves no purpose because it can’t be used  as a reference.

you see the point being made now?

What I see is a few members need to complain about something very small and insignificant. As an alternative, it can be that some people do not understand what they read, and must have a picture connected to comprehend.

So, what is the point? What is it in reference to when the photo has no connection with the report? A photo of something not connected to the report is just bizarre. 'Here's a photo that has nothing to do with the report. Enjoy.'

What? It´s people and motorbike. What more do you ask for? 😉

I'd make a wee sample part of the yearly visa extension - but then again, no heavy drug user probably uses extension anyway

He is probably not on a year long visa. Possibly visa exempt stay (and then an extension and then another visa exempt run or maybe just overstay).

Stare is expected to undergo testing for possible illegal drug use.

Don't say it's so!! It can't possibly be drug induced! How dare they assume such a preposterous thing! It's just normal dirty farang behavior, just ask you know who.

If photos are "for reference only" ("This is what a motorcycle looks like"?)... how about a "reference photo" that might be good click bait, say this photo

Seems to me the drug used is a commonly available one.

But booze is still legal ain't it?

No but it happens that they have the most foreign news outlets of all Thailand in several languages and publish many petty crimes not newsworthy at all such as this one.

He just needs to hang around in different places, rather than where 98% trash do! Although he then may up that percentage.

you don't understand what words mean, do you?

And you are just out for pointing out all you don´t like in a negative way. How about saying something about the piece of news? What do you think? If you feel my comment is not to your liking, just move on. Or, you can just keep on off-topic.

Na!  Someone would have to tell us that that is no way to ride a motorcycle.  LOL

And then it would dissolve into an argument about the rights and wrongs of motorcycle riding.  555
