I normally purchase 400 mg soft gel Ibuprofen, but about every 3rd time I drop by my pharmacy to purchase medicine, they'll grab the 200 mg pills instead. But unnecessary just for ibuprofen. Ibuprofen often comes as enterically coated tablet or capsule so usually not advisable to break in half. bangkok19 Posted June 7 Share Posted June 7 I know in Oz several companies produce a 500mg Para/200mg Ibuprofen tablet or capsule. You just take 1 at a time instead of 2.
