Germany’s Scholz says rescue of 4 hostages ‘important sign of hope’

BERLIN, Germany — Israel’s rescue of four hostages alive in the Gaza Strip is an “important sign of hope,” German Chancellor Olaf Scholz says.

“An important sign of hope — in particular for the numerous Israeli families who continue to fear for those close to them. Four hostages are now free,” Scholz says on X, formerly Twitter, calling on Hamas to release all remaining hostages and the war to end.

Well done the rescuers, RIP to Chief-Inspector Arnon Zamora and Palestinians, the Hamas fighters will be burning or with virgins, but always dead.

Just one pro Palestinian supporter on these forums has voiced agreement with the hostages being rescued .

If you view the hostages being released as a loss and you would prefer Noa and chums still being held hostage in Gaza , then please don't claim to on the right side of history in future as this episode shows that you are not

Do you seriously believe the numbers that Hamas throw out to the press?

Do you remember the press release from Hamas fed outlets that quoted 100's died when Israel bombed a hospital? It was a car park!

Please get real.

Good news, four hostages rescued in good medical health. On the downside heavy civilian deaths and injuries. IMO Israel is losing good will with it's continuous mass killing and injuries of civilians. From the above URL...

In a news briefing, a spokesman for the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital said at least 55 killed people and dozens wounded were brought to the barely functioning medical facility following the Israeli attacks on Deir el-Balah.

It has already been proven that Hamas lie about the number of casualties supposedly killed by the IDF. For Hamas it is propaganda.

If the hostages had been your family members or your Significant Other, how would you feel when they were rescued?

If the civilians who were killed in the crossfire had been your family members, wouldn't you be irate at Hamas for putting your family in danger?
