In a significant operation, the Israeli army has announced the successful rescue of four Israeli hostages who were kidnapped by Hamas during their attacks on the Nova music festival on October 7. The IDF confirmed that all four individuals are in good medical condition and have been transferred to Sheba Tel-HaShomer Medical Center for further medical examinations.

 

Noa Argamani, a Chinese-born Israeli citizen, was among those kidnapped. Verified video footage, authenticated by her father, Yaakov Argamani, shows Noa being taken away on the back of a motorbike, screaming, "Don't kill me!" This harrowing footage brought international attention to her plight.

 

However, the operation was not without consequences. The Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza reported that dozens of people, including children, were killed and injured during the raid. Staff at Al-Aqsa hospital are reportedly struggling to treat the casualties resulting from the operation.

 

The release of these hostages marks a crucial moment in the ongoing conflict, reflecting both the complexities and the human toll of the situation. As the hostages undergo medical evaluations, their rescue brings a measure of relief amidst a backdrop of ongoing violence and humanitarian concerns in Gaza.

UPDATE:

 

Noa Argamani (25), Almog Meir Jan (21), Andrey Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ziv (40) were rescued in a special operation by the IDF, ISA and Israel Police from 2 separate locations in the heart of Nuseirat after being kidnapped by Hamas from the Nova music festival. They are in good medical condition and have been transferred to the 'Sheba' Tel-HaShomer Medical Center for further medical examinations.

We will continue to make every effort to bring the hostages home.

Amazing news, well done IDF, the freed hostages must be feeling over the moon but their ordeal will haunt them forever. The families will be so happy!

The 36 700 "Martyr's" includes the Hamas terrorists who were killed attacking Israel on Oct 7 th  .

   I really don't think that terrorists who were killed to stop them going on a murderous rampage can be classified as martyrs

   Remarkable how dignified she is ; No shouting and screaming or trying to get the crowd singing songs about winning the war , not wearing fake bandages or making allegations of mistreatment , not shouting about how great God is , not vowing revenge on her captors .

There would have been no need for this rescue had Hamas released all hostages. They are sick lying low life’s that need to be eliminated. Congratulations to the brave IDF who brought the hostages home. So many more left. Hamas could so easily stop this.

The People of Gaza have a choice, they can stay under the control of Hamas, or they can rise up against their oppressors, Hamas. To call them martyrs is BS. As long as they allow themselves to be used by Hamas, they are as guilty as Hamas. I for one would accept more Palestinian deaths if it meant Israel could live in Peace.

If the hostages had been your family members or your Significant Other, how would you feel when they were rescued?

 

If the civilians who were killed in the crossfire had been your family members, wouldn't you be irate at Hamas for putting your family in danger?

First question is a bit silly.

Second question, I’d by irate with the IDF and swear to get revenge.
Closer to home, if the British army killed my children  and others at the same time as killing an IRA terrorist, I’d join the IRA.
