If this was the case, most 7/11 cashiers would be hankering after any foreigner who went inside.  This is simply not what happens.

 

Average Thais are simply not that interested in foreign men, even when poor.  There needs to be some angle of Thai men not wanting them or them to be in deep poverty to make them go looking for foreign men.

A long time ago I thought I will check out Thai soapy massage and other places where Thai guys look for girls. I didn't see many attractive girls in those places - attractive for my mind of course.

Many farangs, including me, like petite and dusky. And most Thai guys don't like that at all. So, no competition.

In case that was too subtle, you can absolutely be racist and be in a relationship with a person of a different race and live in a country that has a majority of people not of your race.  People can even be racist against their own race.

Not necessarily true.  I know some very attractive and educated women who had no desire for foreign men.  I knew a bank manager in BKK a few years ago and she told me this:  She was 33, university educated, studied for a year in Austraiia, very beautiful and spoke English almost fluently. She was looking for a comparable Thai man for marriage and in no way would consider a foreign man due to the perception that she was being taken care.  She had her own apartment and car.  She was very nice and it was actually a joy to speak to her over coffee. However most of the girls working at the hotel I was staying at were very intereted in me.  Many of the hotel girls were  very attractive as well.

There is a shockingly high number of foreign men living in Thailand with their Thai spouse who harbor bigoted opinions about other racial groups (including other Thais, especially Thai men), ethnic groups (especially Muslims). The psychological dissonance required to hold these opposing views is truly remarkable, but understandable when you consider the need to get laid. The final statement in your OP, which appears to pander to your fellow ex-pats racial biases, was offensive, and suggests you think you are entitled to pass judgment on a woman's past sexual history. By the way, do you not think that in a 20+ year history of working in a massage parlor, your girlfriend/fiancee has never had a black client she has sexually serviced?

You know, for someone who supposedly has recently just arrived in SE Asia, and is supposedly getting married in the near future, plans to deliver a speech in Thai at the wedding reception, plans to build a house, purchase rental properties and farm land, plans to learn Thai in the next three months, and plans to start the application process for Thai citizenship in the near future, anyone would be forgiven for asking you the same question.
