A small snake caused a commotion at a petrol station in Lom Sak, Phetchabun, when it was discovered curled up by the fuel cap of a motorbike. The owner, who had stopped to refuel, was shocked by the unexpected visitor, prompting a call for rescue services.

At around 12.15am today, the Sawang Mongkol Sathit Rescue Unit in Lom Sak received a report from a citizen in regards to a snake found inside a motorcycle seat at a petrol station. Rescue experts were swiftly dispatched to the scene to investigate the situation.

Upon arrival, the rescue team found a small python curled up beneath the seat of a motorcycle. The snake was positioned near the fuel tank cap, causing quite a scare for the petrol station attendant who discovered it.

The petrol station attendant, 25 year old Thanakrit, recounted the incident. He revealed that after the owner of the motorbike had refuelled, he was about to close the fuel cap when he noticed the snake’s distinctive pattern. Startled, he quickly backed away and alerted his colleagues. The team then contacted the rescue unit for assistance.

The owner of the motorbike, who had been visiting a friend’s house before stopping to refuel, also expressed his shock and gratitude towards the rescue team. He mentioned that he hadn’t noticed the snake when he initially opened the seat to refuel.

He recounted fuelling his motorcycle three to four days prior without any problems, having no idea how long the snake had been hiding there.

The rescue team efficiently captured the python and placed it in a bag to be released back into its natural habitat. The motorbike owner was visibly relieved and thanked the rescue workers for their help.

This incident drew attention from onlookers, who were also intrigued by the motorbike’s registration number, hoping it might bring some good fortune. The small python’s appearance at the petrol station added an unexpected twist to an otherwise routine activity, reported Khaosod.

But for an average thai person , all snakes must be killed .

I don't understand, I thought it was against Buddhist principles to kill anything?

Sorry to say, I am not a Buddhist but for me the same applies, they could exterminate all these snake creatures from our planet.

Lucky in deed to have been a very baby python, as a Missing woman found inside 16-foot python after it

reportedly swallowed her whole in Indonesia,

nevermind that the python is 10 times bigger than the bike but just adding python tidbit to the op...
