What would your reaction be. Would you be concerned or would you be happy for him. Not forgetting, of course, about stories of jealous ex boyfriends, extortion scams etc.

Looking for advice and some sensibility, thanks in advance.

Allow him to stay with her .

Teach him what it means to become a father when still young ...

If you do not allow it , he will do it anyway ... and hate you for that . At his age the hormons are stronger ...

You don't have real control over a kid this age who maybe has his head in the clouds. If you have a good relationship with your son and he listens to you, to some extent, tell him that you think this relationship is not such a good idea and that you think it is not going to work in the long run. What happens after that is beyond your control and for him an experience in life from which he may learn. You should also point out that you will not stand up for any possible consequences and that they are his responsibility alone (in keeping with legal situations of course, since he is a minor).

Op, most likely want to know the legal aspect of this created scenario, where most likely a 22 year old boy/man would or could face legal consequences having a 16 year old girl sleeping over!

We tend to look between the fingers when it comes to girls/women, but not so much when it is the opposite way.

If it was my son, I could live with it, but if it was my daughter, then that man had to watch his steps carefully.

Happy for him...:heart_001:

He seems like a good boy, asking you about it. If it doesn't work, he'll probably come back and might need some support.

He's not an adult and she is.... rape (legally) works both ways.

It's not rape if both parties and the parents of the 16 year old consent.

And the common crime would be her taking a 'child' from it's parents against their will. Not rape.
