Popular Post snoop1130
Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin led a delegation to Rayong and Chon Buri last Sunday, June 23, to inspect pivotal projects within the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). At Rayong’s U-Tapao International Airport, PM Srettha scrutinised the progress of an ambitious project aimed at linking the airport with a high-speed rail network that will connect three major airports. “This network is set to revolutionise transportation from Bangkok’s eastern outskirts to the city centre, turbocharging economic growth, trade, and tourism across the EEC.” The Bangkok-born PM pressed the Ministry of Transport and the Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EECO) to hasten construction, pledging to provide detailed updates on the rail project by the end of July. The next stop was Chon Buri, where the prime minister, alongside Transport Minister Suriya Jungrungreangkit, evaluated plans for a Formula 1 racing route at Jomtien Beach. The government aims to lure international tourists by hosting F1 races starting in 2028, with the potential for Formula E events as well. “This initiative will place Thailand on the global motorsport map and drive tourism.” The delegation’s final destination was Laem Chabang Port in Chon Buri’s Sri Racha district. They inspected the ongoing Phase 3 of the port development project. Accompanied by officials from the Port Authority of Thailand (PAT) and the CNNC joint venture, the Thai premier observed that Phase 1, including land reclamation, dredging, and wave breaker construction, is 13.26% complete. With an eye on the June 2026 deadline, efforts are being ramped up to ensure timely completion. Phase 2, involving the construction of docks and infrastructure, has been assigned to China Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd., while phases three and four are in the contractor selection phase. Upon completion, Laem Chabang Port will boost container capacity from 11 million TEUs to 18 million TEUs annually, significantly enhancing Thailand’s rail and coastal shipping capabilities. This development aligns with the government’s strategic objective to reduce transportation costs from 14% to 12% of GDP, reinforcing Thailand’s economic resilience and growth, reported Pattaya Mail. Popular Post J Branche
Just my opinion but seems like some leadership who is pretty wealthy is attempting to turn Thailand into Singapore. To fund these projects they will Tax anyone, anywhere that they can. Money would be better spent on Improving the education system so graduates do Not need a calculator to subtract Foreign Elementary School amounts 302 - 272 = ???. Access to resources and support for students who have potential and who are bright to take advanced learning courses for Free or with discount to make affordable. How about requiring Food labels to clearly show how much fat, salt, sugar, cholesterol is in food. Most labels I've looked at the Macro option on the Mobile phone is required to read the label. Unfortunately the writing is on the wall. Enough reckless spending on investments with High Risk of failure and Low Potential of Profits and Thailand will start defaulting on loans and the credit rating will drop, money to dig the country out will start drying up and have high interest rates. To gain access to the Elite F1 teams and drivers and be able to party with people of same caliber it appears an invitation has been sent. Party in Thailand 202? only people with helicopters, jets, massive yachts and high end exotic cars invited. I used to go along on the practice days but stopped as the event got just too big and became more difficult to see anything. It is not out of the question to capitalise on the success of Bang Saen with a bigger venue elsewhere. I would think that the organisers are a bit fed up putting up the track and more and more stands every year. Also the disruption to the resident is getting out of hand. Relocation is probably a good idea but F1 by 2028 does sound a bit ambitious. https://www.racingcircuits.info/asia/thailand/bangsaen.html 2

Sydebolle
The two daily flight from Utapao to Udon Thani with excellent load factors were never reinstated. So much to the dire need of expansion on infrastructure. The airport is there, the capillary grid was and still is not. But who cares, as long as there is an overflow of lose change in the state's budget to be burnt by the pile.
