Thaksin Makes Comeback: Former PM Speaks at Pheu Thai Headquarters

Paroled former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra made a high-profile appearance at the Pheu Thai Party headquarters yesterday.

 

As a special guest speaker for the Pheu Thai Party Academy, Thaksin delivered a riveting lecture, urging party members to continually improve their skills and embrace lifelong learning.

 

Addressing a class comprised predominantly of Pheu Thai MPs, Thaksin commended their active participation in the recent budget debate in Parliament.

 

“I have been closely following your contributions.”

 

Thaksin encouraged them to keep honing their abilities.

 

“Don’t act like a full glass of water, be open to more practice and new knowledge.”

 

 

Among the attendees was Thaksin’s youngest daughter, Paetongtarn Shinawatra, who currently leads the Pheu Thai party. The public got wind of this exclusive lecture after enthusiastic participants shared details and photos on social media.

 

This marks Thaksin’s second visit to the Pheu Thai headquarters since his return from self-imposed exile last August.

 

Despite his parole on three corruption convictions and recent indictments on charges of lese majeste and violations of the Computer Crime Act, Thaksin remains a prominent and unflinching figure in Thai politics.

 

Released on 500,000 baht bail, he continues to make public appearances and offer his insights on political affairs.

Isn't one of his bail rules that he is not allowed to meddle in politics.

He is in the front and center of that picture, and it seems he is in front and center of his party.

How much more does he have to do before he will go "back to" jail because he doesn't follow his bail conditions?

 

I am not surprised what he wants to be the big leader again. But why do others let him take that role?

Arrest him and throw him into jail where he belongs!

I also thought everybody knew that. 

But a few years ago, when the criminal was still in the desert, I wrote from time to time comments about him and him pulling the strings.

Lots of members in this forum told me to let go, he was someone from the past and the past is over.

I had often confused emojis like AN members couldn't understand why I will mention that guy.

I didn't see too many of those confused emojis anymore. Now even the Nit and Noi influenced AN members understand that Thaksin is in the center again and that is bad for the country.

It's sad that this wasn't obvious for everybody since a long time.

Calm down. He was speaking at his party heaquarters to his party MPs about improving their skill and embracing lifelong learning. This is an internal gathering to his own party members; not a rally in a public place inciting violence.
