carlyai
Thinking of buying this strimmer, because: I already have 20v batteries and charger for other DeWalt devices, After my recent back reorganisatiom, I can no longer use the large Honda strimmer, Looks like a good lightweight machine. Anyone experience with battery strimmers in particular the DeWalt brand? Recommendations?
Pogust
Just make sure you buy 15 or 20 cell battery packs! And buy 2 of them as the trimmer with cord will need plenty of power. Like this one, not saying it's good just to show what batteries you need. https://h5.lazada.co.th/products/tanzu-tz-lm-2000-8-bl-i5021553315-s21229442921.html? I found the makita battery fitting best as there are plenty of tools and batteries available. De Walt might have their own system where cheap batteries don't fit and you must buy the more expensive original.
billd766
I would think that the size of the area you have to cut is the most important. For 100 or 200 sq/m a cordless trimmer is OK, but for large areas of 1 or more rai, you are likely to run out of battery power long before you are finished with cutting the grass. 1

Not a big area. 😉

Not much is level and some of it is in a drainage trench that some people have dumped bits of cut off tree and a lot is in a Sam O orchard.
