I agree that the cost of net zero should be estimated, although that that calculation will involve a lot more complexity than some basic maths.

 

Notwithstanding that, in your original post you seemed to reject "globalism"*? How can the UK thrive if it does?

Common sense like his over the top championing of Liz Truss' disastrous budget that nearly took down the UK economy? How about all the fantastical benefits he touted that would come with Brexit? Eight years after the vote a lowly 31% of the UK population think it was a good decision. Nige was strutting around last night like a peacock stating that his party is now the real opposition. Truth is Reform captured four measly seats putting them in a tie for sixth amongst parties now in Westminster. The only relevance he has is with the right wing media who before and after the election acted like his party won north of 300 seats. If anyone is up for a good laugh check out what Jonathan Pie has to say about this clown and the disingenuous media on YouTube.
