Crime of the century. But nonetheless, very expedient.

I hope he used his indicators/winkers/blinkers/signal light/flashers - choose your poison.:coffee1:

When you take someone's money, especially if they aren't well off, it teaches them a lesson, and curtails bad behavior.

Or maybe, now that they have no money, they have to steal to eat thereby encouraging bad behaviour?

What do you do with them if they do not have the money for the big fine? Gaol them?

Tell them, during their driving tests, that they will be fined if they break the laws.Maybe they will think about this, knowing if they break any laws, their money will be taken from them. This might get through to those who aren't well off and don't care about breaking the driving laws, that they might not have enough money for food. This is a lesson learned. If we wear helmets, don't speed, drink while driving, cut people off in traffic, have a license to drive, and not let under aged children drive, we will be able to eat our meals and live to enjoy them.

Had he had a few shots before driving there would be no way he would risk that......let's hear it for drink drivers.

Motorbikes do it all the time, they even build small ramps and pathways to do so.

It definitely reckless driving, but I agree the Farang gets hunter down here.

Yes I agree many improvise M/C crossings on Highway3 across gullies, they have even built bridges across, been there for years, Meh said a highway patrolman. Saves them 10b in fuel and 15 min driving. They even go in the out<- side of gas stations (as do cars) to save a further 15meter drive.

That's reckless driving? Obviously targeting foreigners. We've all seen Thais doing far worse traffic acts than this guy did.

Of course he did wrong....but arrested!

If you don't want to be a target don't do it.

If the police go down Sai Mai road near the market around 7 to 9am they will get a lot of motor bikes without licence plates and driving on the sidewalk. They very rarely go there at that time in the morning though.

Do the same as in the west, make the police actually enforce the law. Then  force them to pay in small installments weekly.

That way they would learn that the law applies to all.

It would also cut down on the number of accidents.

Sadly it will never happen.

Motor cyclists living next to a dual carriageway build little ramps in order to cross the central reservation to the other carriageway.... rather than go 1 Km to the U turn....
