  • Sorry.  Wrong. The guy was on the ground after apparently being tased. There is no reason to kick him in the head, regardless of what led up to the tasing.

  • They punched the firearms officers in the face and I'm pretty sure the officers would think they might grab for their weapons next so done the necessary to stop it. Ok the guy was laying on the ground

Which hopefully will be given straight to the Policewoman who suffered a broken nose

This is the female officer.IMG-20240727-WA0000.jpg.3910d2e63c428e22f838e57b6e55ade3.jpg

I hope this officer gets the benefit of context for this as I don't think I would be able to control my temper either if some thug was smashing a female colleague's face in.   Actions have consequences and if the guy on the ground was found to have caused previous bodily harm to a female then the sympathies should not be with the thug that took the kick to the head.

So it is OK for the authorities to take the law into their own hands and kick someone in the head ?

It is ridiculous to allow,or condone, such actions by those whose job it is to enforce, and comply with, the law.

Absolutely no sympathy for the thug - but the law is there to deal with him.

I didn't say it was "OK" I was implying that it is understandable.   It's human nature for males to be protective of females (not beta males obviously as they do not have this instinct so are the ones most outraged by this), so if a thug attacks a female in the presence of other males then it would be expected that the thug would find out that this is not acceptable behaviour.   It looks bad, but taken in the context of his female colleague getting her face smashed in then it is understandable

Enter Mr. Mountain from Molehill. Just look at the news like I did.

That from a guy who posts a fabricated pejorative statement and then gets shirty when called out for having done so.

You have produced zero evidence that your post was based on any news source.

GMP over the last 10 years or so have done an excellent job catching these so and so`s along with their drug dealing....long prison sentences have been handed out but no condemnation for their behavior from their so called community has been heard.....I lived locally for many years and have seen how these parasites behave but it`s too late now sadly....ooh how Enoch was right....Police being attacked in Leeds last week now protesting in Rochdale....where will it end...tear gas them and lock them up then deport

I think the word you are looking for is "unacceptable" rather than "understandable".........with regards to a serving policeman.

You and I would, of course, happily stamp on his head and accept the consequences if it was our GF/wife.

You don't have the full context.  You have only seen a teeny fraction of the altercation and just because someone "says" he stamped on his head does not make it so.  He actually stamped to the side of his head.   Also the fact the thug was not unconscious and looked somewhat okay in comparison to the female police officer then actual kick to the head suggests it was more of a warning that an attempt to cause serious injury.

The officers hold guns. They are heavily trained to deal with their emotions.

Controlling their temper is their job. What an utterly idiotic thing to say.

Did he pull his gun out?  Did he shoot the thug?  Since the answer to both those questions is no then he did well in my opinion.

Unless you are a beta male then you don't know how you will react when seeing a female colleagues face get smashed by a thug.  Have you experienced UK police firearms training to be able to state from experience that they are "heavily trained" to deal with their emotions or is that just something you made up?

It would help if the body cam evidence, from the police and Airport cctv footage was shown.

All we have it seems is someone's smartphone video showing the altercation at the end, not how or what started it?

Does not matter what came before. The conduct of the policeman carrying out his duties is criminal and he is rightly being investigated.

So you condone the criminal behaviour of the police acting like thugs. I think a prosecutor and a court should decide if the policemans antics were lawful.

Taking a punt on someones head and then stomping on the head is not lawful behaviour of a state actor.

Also illegal and will likely cost the officer his job and pension.

Try attacking 3 cops in Pakistan and breaking ones nose and see what you get in reply. Whole event caused by muslim aggression and violent attacks, then they have the nerve to play the victim, as usual. They will be after compo of course.

Were you there. and saw exactly what happened?

If you were not there why not wait until ,ore information becomes available, instead out running off at the mouth, as usual.

How do you KNOW that they will be after compensation?

If it were me or my son attacked by a police officer, I certainly would be.

I would also expect that the police officer to be immediately suspended from duty and I would also want an independent inquiry into the incident.

From what I HAVE seen on the video above, it looks to me as though the police officer completely lost his head and kicked the victim in the head and then stamped on his head completely in a completely unnecessary and unprovoked attack.

But this is only my opinion, and from watching the video. I, like you, have no idea what went on before that or what provoked the police officer (if he was provoked, that I don't know) to do what he did.

What would you do hotandsticky if a Thai male broke your wife's nose, give him a stern telling off?

If you look through this thread you might see that I haven't been given any rest.

And, if you look at my first post you might see that you agree with me.

So why not hop off and read that.
