It's ok really!! Calm down. It is clear you did not know that when the President says he will be in the next elections, that it is a sure thing until he says otherwise. But at the time of his debate with Trump. He was running for the next election still. So, he was the actual nominee until he chickened out and dumped Harris there to take his place.
