Pattaya City has set sail on a significant project to restore nature. This project's main goal is to enhance eco-tourism and breathe new life into the ecosystem in the Na Kluea area. The project's first event was held at Khlong Nok Yang, Na Kluea and was graced by local officials including Pattaya City Mayor, Poramese Ngampiches, Deputy Mayor Manoch Nongyai, Mayor’s Secretary Phumipat Kamolnat, and the director of the Pollution Control Division Yathasuda Pholratcham.

Namely, the Na Kluea area is famous for being a historic part of Pattaya City and for its strong Thai and Chinese cultural roots. This dynamic region is home to old markets, seafood markets, temples, shrines, and activities like local fishing and cycling. It's also the location of Pattaya's last standing mangrove forest, making it a crucial area for environment conservation.

Acknowledging the need to protect this unique ecosystem, Pattaya City's Natural Resources Department arranged a mangrove planting activity. During this event, 100 trees were planted at Khlong Nok Yang. This move is not only intended to restore the area's natural resources but also to spur tourism by fashioning a more sustainable environment.

“This project shows our dedication to ensuring a peaceful coexistence between human activities and nature,” stated the officials.

By paying attention to environmental sustainability, the nature revival project seeks to draw in more eco-tourists to Na Kluea. This will aid in boosting the local economy while preserving the area's natural charm.
