A 12-year-old girl from the southern region of Narathiwat in Thailand, was forced to flee to the central province of Nonthaburi in search of help after being attacked by a group of 13 men, some of whom were friends of her older brother and others who were related to them. Searching for assistance, she and her 20-year-old sister reached out to popular social media personality, Guntouch "Gun" Pongpaiboonwet. The traumatic incident happened at a local resort in the Tak Bai district of Narathiwat in May.

The victim's sister discovered the crime when she noticed her younger sister showing signs of depression, such as being unusually quiet and spending most of her time in her room. Upon examining her sister's mobile device, she found messages between the young girl and the assailants.

As per the older sister's revelation, the group who assaulted the girl comprised of influential drug traffickers in the province, and they threatened the victim to remain silent. Fearing that the powerful group could potentially interfere with the investigation, she decided to seek help from Gun in Nonthaburi.

She informed that the group comprised of 13 individuals, the youngest being 16 years old. Some were acquaintances of her younger brother, some were her relatives and one was a legally blind man with a family.

Gun informed Channel 3 that one friend of the victim's brother invited her for roti but instead took her to a resort where the group waited to attack her. After the attack, he then threatened to expose her if she shared the incident. When the older sister refused to settle the matter with the group, they dared the girl to file a police report, assuring her that they could easily get it dismissed.

As per Gun, the group showed no fear for the law, and he considered their actions inhumane. Unscathed by their influence, Gun stated his intent to confront them personally.
